Media is commonly referred to as one of the most powerful influences in society today. It can affect the nature and development of the world at large.
Understanding what an effective tool media is, imaGENations' goal is to produce quality films that defy the common misconception that if a film isn't a bad influence, then it will be boring and stale. We strive for excellence in all areas of filmmaking. From writing to production, we seek to use artistic visuals and innovative editing that are inspired by the creativity of Christ.
Our objective is two-fold:
Our productions take form in documentary-style stories, and in modern parables. The documentaries spotlight a country or a specific ministry, showing the needs as well as the possibility for change. We have filmed in places such as Nepal, Thailand, India, South Africa, Mexico and all over southern California.
For constructing parables, we use a lesson style that Jesus employed many times to teach those who were following Him. They present a story that challenges the audience to think, consider the deeper meanings and how to apply it to their lives.
